ALL INCLUSIVE - PERFECT FOR INDEPENDANT STUDENT COMING TO STUDY IN PERTH - SHORT OR LONG TERM.
THE ROOM - Reverse cycle aircon, furnished. (double bed, draws and desk)( room size 3.4mx3.2m) All linen (including towels etc) is provided. The room also has a huge walk in robe(2mx1.4m) with lots of selves and hanging space.
THE HOUSE - Light and airy fully furnished / fully equipped 2 bedroom town house.There is off street parking, private court yard for BBQing and a balcony. Kitchen has lots of cupboard space no trying to pack your food onto 1 self (bonus). Living room, dining room have reverse cycle aircon. Washer, dryer, oven, grill, hotplates, BBQ, clothesline, pegs, TV, DVD, Stereo, ADSL internet.
THE LOCATION - Less than 5 min walk to Beaufort St cafe strip (Flying Scotsman, Queens, Inglewood hotel all very close) 5 min walk to Mt Lawley train Station, and Bus, 10 mins to city by public trans (everything is walking distance IGA, german butcher, banks, planet video, Zest gym, post office wow the list is almost endless). 20min walk to ECU, 10min cycle, 5min by car. (I walk to the city centre in 30 mins.)
ME - I'm a 35 year old ESL English teacher just returning from a 2 year stint working overseas. I've worked in Germany, South Korea, Thailand and Chile. I work and study also so am fairly quiet during the week.
I don't mind communicating on line via Skype etc with travellers who would like to pre-arrange accomodation before you come to Perth.
WHAT ELSE YOU MIGHT LIKE TO KNOW - I'm very helpful and will help you as much as I canwhile your here.
When I have spare time I'd love to show you around and introduce you to my friends. If you want to do you own thing that is cool too.
You will have to buy and prepare your own food. That doesn't mean that we can't cook together and invite friends over for a BBQ though.
I buy all the things like cleaners, washing powder and condiments. It's easier that way, avoids disagreements and makes for happy living.
I also do all the major cleaning such as bathrooms, floors etc. But I do expect you to clean up after yourself in the shared areas, your room and clean your dishes.
At the moment I do not have a car, but that may change and if it does I can offer airport pick up and drop off.
