Homestay message
Welcome to Perth and our family. We've enjoyed hosting students from all over the world over many years. We recently built a new house and are almost ready to have our house warmingg party.
Our house is 7km's to Perth city in the suburb of Floreat and is an easy 15 minute bus ride (stop is close to our home). Our previous students have studied at Aranmore College, EF, Australian College of English, Taylors College, University of Western Australia, Curtin University and Phoenix Language Academy.
We are a very happy family of 5 - Michelle is 39 and used to be an English teacher, now working in real estate, Stephen is 40 and is a computer programmer - the best part of his job is he works from home !! Jessica is 14 and enjoys soccer, drama and youth group. Katie is 12 and loves reading, gymnastics and Sponge Bob Square Pants. Emily is 10 and likes tap dancing, girl guides and swimming. We're also regularly visited by 'Nanny' - the girls' grandmother and 'Nana Lois', their other grandmother!! We also have a cat named Star.
Some of our students have stayed a week, one student stayed a year !!
When you come and stay with us, you become a part of the family.
Enjoy home cooked meals and your choice of your own private bedroom or a shared bedroom with another student from another country (we can take a maximum of 3 students at a time - each room has its own dedicated internet access. Whilst most students bring their own lap top computer, you are welcome to use one of our computers for your email). You will share bathroom facilities with our daughters. Bus stop to the city is located a convenient two houses from our front door.

Please note we require 2 weeks notice if you intend vacating the property earlier than agreed. Smoking is strictly outside only. We expect and appreciate students who assist with house hold chores. You will be expected and encouraged to keep your own room clean, launder your own linens and assist with housekeeping activities such as loading the dishwasher!!
Please note our weekly tariff is $250.00 AUD per week.
